How Contest works
The page shows one king, the price to take the crown, and the ETH that every trade adds to the king's purse.
- You buy $CTST on Pons, on Robinhood Chain. A normal buy, in one trade. If it is bigger than the price shown on the page, the crown is yours.
- You become king. The price to take the crown resets to the size of your buy, then melts to a floor of 0.01 ETH over one hour.
- Every trade fills your purse. While you reign, about 2.16% of the volume of every $CTST trade, buys and sells, is booked to your wallet.
- You get paid without lifting a finger. No claim, no staking, no signature. The moment you lose the crown, ETH is sent to your wallet, usually within a minute. A long reign is also paid along the way, every 10 minutes.
- The crown moves on. Someone outbids you, or you sell. Either way, what you earned stays yours and keeps being paid.
You never connect a wallet to this site to get paid. Being king is just a buy.
Example: Alice takes a nap on the throne
Alice buys 0.5 ETH of $CTST at 9:00 PM. Nobody bids more, so she is queen. By 9:30 PM the price has melted to 0.255 ETH, and by 10:00 PM it sits on the 0.01 ETH floor. Meanwhile people trade 20 ETH of $CTST. Alice has earned 0.432 ETH without doing anything. At 10:10 PM Bob buys 0.2 ETH and takes the crown. Alice keeps her 0.432 ETH, which lands in her wallet a minute later. How the price melts.
Where the money comes from
Every $CTST trade on Pons pays fees. 2.7% of the trade reaches the Throne contract, and 80% of that goes to the king: about 2.16% of every trade. Nothing is printed, nothing comes from the price going up. The full split.
Moving even one $CTST out of your wallet, by selling or by sending it, ends your reign at once. What counts as leaving the throne.
