Lose the crown

You stop being king when someone outbids you or when $CTST leaves your wallet.

Outbid

A bigger buy takes the crown. The fees of that buy are still yours: you were king when the trade started. From the next trade on, the new king earns.

Abdication: moving $CTST out

Any transaction that moves $CTST out of the king's wallet ends the reign at the very start of that transaction. That includes:

  • selling, on Pons or anywhere else, even a small part;
  • sending tokens to another wallet, including your own second wallet;
  • adding liquidity, bridging, or depositing into a contract.

The fees of the transaction that made you abdicate do not go to you: they go to the next king.

A partial sale counts. Selling 1% of your $CTST ends your reign as surely as selling all of it.

An empty throne

After an abdication there is no king. The kings' share of every trade then piles up for whoever comes next, and the next king receives all of it at the crowning. Any buy of at least 0.01 ETH takes an empty throne.

What you keep

Everything you earned while you reigned stays yours, whether you were outbid or sold. Former kings keep being paid until their purse is empty. Nothing expires.
